Organic Pepper Salt

Peppers not only add flavor to any dish, they also increase the absorption of many nutrients from other foods. This pepper salt contains a wide variety of heirloom peppers -- some sweet, some hot -- to create a delicious blend.

Bell peppers are not only rich in the powerful antioxidants known as carotenoids, they also contain sulfur compounds that have been shown to have anti-cancer benefits. They’re also an excellent source of Vitamins E and C as well as the antioxidant mineral manganese.

Hot peppers have amazing levels of vitamins and minerals as well, such as Vitamins A, C and B6 and the minerals iron, copper and potassium.

Our Pepper Salt is made of such varieties as Jimmy Nardello, padrone, Tam jalapeño, Anaheim and Ace bell peppers. It is two parts pepper powder and one part Celtic Sea Salt. Enjoy on steaks, buttered potatoes, avocados, folded into sauces and salad dressings – anything that could use an earthy and aromatic kick. One of our favorite ways to use Pepper Salt is added to mushroom risotto and to fried eggs.
