Orange Passion Fruit Tart - A Delicious and Refreshing Dessert

  2. Add the egg yolk and ice water. Pulse again until the dough comes together.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently until smooth. Shape it into a disk, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to fit a tart pan. Press the dough into the pan and trim any excess.
  6. Prick the bottom of the dough with a fork and bake it for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
  7. In a small saucepan, heat the orange marmalade over low heat until melted. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  8. Spread the melted marmalade over the cooled tart shell.
  9. Arrange the orange segments and passion fruit pulp on top of the marmalade.
  10. Refrigerate the tart for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  11. Before serving, dust the tart with powdered sugar for an elegant touch.
